Hong Kong protesters continue to invent ingenious means to help them stay anonymous and avoid arrest. This is especially true when it comes to thwarting Communist Chinese facial recognition systems. Masks, other ways to cover the face, ornamentation as shown here, and some are suggesting that even face painting may be effective at fooling the face recognition mechanism posted everywhere that China has sovereignty. Those cameras constantly filming, recording faces have also been vandalized in large numbers, all trends that will undoubtedly continue, as long as the repression and big-brother surveillance continue.
