Ecuador at the time of this writing is the South American country hardest hit by early April by the Coronavirus, especially the second city Guayaquil. Thousands of bodies have now finally been collected in Guayaquil alone. Above, a body said to be laying for three days outside a closed clinic in Guayaquil, Ecuador on April 3, 2020.
The bitterness in the Ecuadoran soul, that the highly vaunted Socialism and Social Justice implemented by the highly popular and triumphant Rafael Correa (now wanted by Ecuadoran justice) shows itself incapable of even picking up the bodies of those citizens who die in a pandemic. Ecuador is another model of Socialist medicine at work, centralized, Third-World, bureaucratic medicine at its worst, misery surpassed, perhaps, only by its ex-ally Venezuela.
